Daylight savings took effect today... so as of right now, my local time is exactly 12 hrs slower than Singapore time. Your PM is my AM and vice versa.

The weather has been beauuuutiful lately, hitting the 70's yesterday, and now it's in the 60's, although it's not such a beautiful day today, cos the skies are gloomy, and I expect it to pour sometime soon.

I loveee warm weather!

But I think this weekend was just a tease and we're gonna get a little more winter weather before spring arrives sometime later this month.

Haven't been up to much lately, still waiting on my letters of approval to get here before Thursday. ( I already got one back! =p Waiting on the rest now..so anxious!)

We played poker the other night at Landis's house...his basement/game room is so awesome. It has basically everything you need in a game room.. poker table, dartboard, foosball table, pool table, large screen tv, air hockey, Wii game set, and even a deep freezer filled with ice cream bars lol. It's a well decked out game room!

So I turned out to be the breadwinner of our household, winning $10 in a game, which equivalates to a free game! Lol and we played a couple rounds of poker, and we lost some money. But we had a lot of fun. =p

Oh and the guys had fun with my name, they thought my name was cool, and I went from being Zubby at the start of the night to Zubby-doo-be-doo to Scrappy at the end of the night. Lol could you tell they were drunk?

It was our first time playing with the group, and Jesse says he's just setting them up this time to think that he's a big bluffer, so next time he can hopefully win some money.

And I do believe him, because he is one of the better poker players that I personally know of, and I couldn't believe he didn't win any part of any pot the other night.

So we'll see what happens next time. =p I'm still a real amateur at the game tho, so I've been trying to get a lot of practice in playing online poker, and getting my ass kicked badly a lot of times. Heheh. I'm not the worst out there, but I'm sure as hell not the best either.
